Henstridge Airfield in Somerset offers families supported by CLIC Sargent a unique flight experience and a memorable day out.
Open to families who are being supported by CLIC Sargent, this event is a very popular annual occasion which has been taking place for over 10 years.
As well as the incredible opportunity to take to the skies in small planes, families were treated to a day of fun, food and entertainment all provided by the generosity and support of Sturminster Newton Rotary Club.
Scout groups were also in attendance and showed great work ethic, ensuring all families were given a day they won't forget.
As well as promising a wonderfully memorable day out, this event offers families the opportunity to support one another so they feel less isolated.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “We are incredibly grateful to Henstridge Airfield for hosting this occasion yet again for families supported by CLIC Sargent.
The event has become incredibly popular - families look forward to this annual occasion months in advance!
CLIC Sargent would like to thank the owner, the volunteers who help and the members of the Strut who fly at Henstridge Airfield in Somerset for their ongoing generosity, providing such a wonderful day out for young cancer patients and their families.
