Natalia Carey is just five-years-old and has cut her waist-length hair short for children and young people with cancer.
Raising over £1,000, Natalia from Dulverton in Somerset took part in CLIC Sargent's Big Buzz event at school, with the support of her fellow pupils from All Saints Church of England School.
Natalia has donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust to make into a wig, as well as raising valuable funds for CLIC Sargent in memory of her cousin who sadly died of a brain tumour before Natalia was born.
Natalia’s mother Marina said: “It was all Natalia’s idea after she saw a little girl without much hair.
“Natalia was nervous, she loves her hair and says she has the longest hair in Dulverton, but then she thinks about how it will be used to make someone else happy.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “Natalia is so thoughtful, having bravely donated her hair to other children. She is an inspiration to us all.”
Local organisations had collection tins to help towards Natalia’s total, and her school also helped by holding a non-school uniform day.
Hannah continued: “It is fabulous to see the local area club together to help Natalia succeed on her quest to raise over £1,000 for young cancer patients and making a real difference to the lives of others. Thank you.”
