As part of their sponsorship of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Lidl UK delivered a variety of food and toiletries to CLIC Sargent Homes from Homes, where families stay for free whilst their child undergoes treatment.
These deliveries of food and toiletries donated by Lidl will go towards reducing the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis for families, with extra travel and food costs adding up to an average of an additional £600 a month.
CLIC Sargent Account Manager Sam Scott said:
“It’s great to see Lidl’s commitment supporting the families of young people with cancer and helping reduce the cost of cancer. The goods delivered to our homes from home are yet another fantastic way that Lidl have supported CLIC Sargent”
To support CLIC Sargent further, Lidl staff recently took part in Superhero fundraising in stores, with brave staff dressing up to raise money for children and young people with cancer.
