Dave Nowell took the plunge and took part in a 15,000ft skydive raising over £2,900 for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
Dave’s son Stanley was three weeks into starting school when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2013.
The first six months of Stan's treatment were intense with many days spent in Bristol Children's Hospital and the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Stanley has been incredibly brave throughout and the family is immensely proud of how he has coped.
To kick start Dave’s company’s Artwork Solutions new partnership with CLIC Sargent, Dave took part in a 15,000ft skydive dressed as a Power Ranger, Stanley’s favourite superheroes.
In total Dave’s skydive raised a fantastic £2,947.22 for CLIC Sargent.
Dave said: “I wanted to do this skydive to raise people’s awareness of CLIC Sargent as they are a great charity who help children and young people with cancer."
They have been there for Stanley and us all as a family from diagnosis, the CLIC Nurses are always there.
