Angie Raines, owner of Norfolk antiques, gifts and cafe establishment, The Granary, has this month celebrated a milestone in her fundraising for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
Motivated by her own experiences with cancer as an adult, Angie felt inspired to fundraise for CLIC Sargent.
Angie said: “I have been completely overwhelmed by the support of my customers. They are the ones who buy the books and raffle tickets and put their donations in the collection tins.”
Angie and her friends and family members known as ‘Angie’s Army’ have also taken on a skydive and a 5km mud challenge to raise money in support of CLIC Sargent.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Daisy Turner said: “What Angie and her team have achieved is outstanding. Last year we supported 69 families in Norfolk alone.
"Angie’s fundraising is so important because it helps us to continue supporting children and their families when they need it most.”
