Staff members from local branches of HSBC throughout Staffordshire have been getting on their bikes to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
In the Market Square Branch in Stafford, staff chose to jointly cycle over 140 miles on road bikes and on a static bike placed in the front of the store.
Staff members, Lisa Crompton and Louise Mattinson cycled from Stafford to Stone and Newmarket and back again. Premier Account Manager for HSBC, Rikesh Bhatt cycled for over two and half hours on a static bike, still speaking merrily to customers!
Rikesh said: “We’re delighted to have played our part in helping the charity ensure that children and young people can live their life to the full as much as possible.
"Without the support of our colleagues and customers, we would not have reached our target to help such a worthwhile cause.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Anna Finnegan said: “We are absolutely thrilled that local branches are supporting us this way.
"We really appreciate the hard work and generosity that has gone into raising the pounds – every penny raised will help provide vital support for children and young people with cancer, and their families.”
