Shoppers at Spitalfields Market in London have helped raise £1062.46 for CLIC Sargent by making a donation to have some fun in giant snow globe during the Christmas holidays.
Shoppers were encouraged to enter a competition by taking a selfie in the snow globe and sharing it on the Spitalfields Facebook page. There were fantastic prizes up for grabs including; a £30 voucher from Source, a scarf from Nigel Hall and a cake from Lola’s Cupcakes.
Entering the snow globe was free but they were able to make a donation to CLIC Sargent, and thanks to their generous Christmas spirit the snow globe raised £1,062.46 to support CLIC Sargent’s work with children and young people with cancer, and their families.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Elizabeth Charing said: “Thank you to Spitalfields Market for supporting CLIC Sargent, and to all who made a donation.
"Currently we can only support two out of every three children and young people with cancer, so this donation will help us to continue our work supporting those who need us.”
