The Four Seasons Fundraising Charity Group organised some events in their local community, raising £3,000 for children and young people with cancer.
The group based in the Lutterworth, Leicestershire held a charity golf day and auction at Kilworth Springs Golf Club, North Kilworth and a curry night at their local village pub.
Two members of the group presented the cheque to Myra Keatley-Lill (pictured in the middle), chairman of the CLIC Sargent Fundraising Group, the Lutterworth Voluntary Committee.
Myra said: "Thank you seems such a small thing to say for such a warm-hearted and generous gesture but it is sincerely meant."
What could this money do?
Last year, CLIC Sargent supported over 550 children and young people with cancer, and their families, from the East Midlands. We gave more than 350 grants to a value of over £67,000, to help families deal with the financial impact of cancer.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Blaine Cooper-Jones said: "We are so grateful to the members of Four Seasons Fundraising Charity Group for such a fantastic donation.
"CLIC Sargent's Homes from Home provide free self-catering accommodation near to specialist children’s cancer treatment centres, which are often many miles from a family's own home."
