Owners and fans from across the world gathered in Warwickshire to celebrate 25 years since the launch of the Figaro car with a party like no other - 266 colour-coordinated cars lined up ready for inspection by hordes of car enthusiasts! Proceeds from the weekend raised £995 for CLIC Sargent.
The celebratory weekend was kicked off with a gala dinner in the beautiful Wroxall Abbey Estate near Warwick, attended by over 200 guests.
Prizes awarded at the event included ‘Furthest Travelled’, which went to Heiko Hilsher, who had driven an impressive 1,152K from Germany to attend the celebrations!
Figaro Owners Club founder Kevin Fagan explains: “The ethos of the club is to have fun, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and cars were judged not just for their condition but for how much the owner captures that Figaro fun and enthusiasm for their car. It’s not about mint condition but how well-loved they are.”
The club has been a long-term supporter of CLIC Sargent and proceeds from the weekend’s fun and games including the legendary raffle, raised £995 for the charity.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: “I want to thank Kevin and the club for their wonderful and continued support.
“It’s only through donations like these that we can continue our work and support more young people with cancer.”
