As voted for by readers of Living in Oxford Magazine and the general public, the award was presented to the charity in the newly renovated University of Oxford's Weston Library.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: "CLIC Sargent was up against three other exceptional charities that work in the Oxfordshire area so we were delighted to win this award.

"We are so grateful to everyone who voted as it's great for our fundraisers and our fantastic services team to be recognised in this way.

"CLIC Sargent provides support for children and young people with cancer and it is due to the services staff that CLIC Sargent was nominated for this award."

CLIC Sargent's Oxford team is based in the John Radcliffe Hospital, with many families staying at the nearby CLIC Sargent Home from Home CLIC Court.
