The family run dairy farm in Belfast celebrated its 29th birthday with CLIC Sargent, in support of the McCurry family and our work with young cancer patients.
There was a great turn out, as well as traditional farm animals, families got to meet a few celebrities like Spiderman, Captain America, Robin Hood and Peppa Pig.
The owners generously donated the proceeds on that day to the charity. Streamvale Open Farm owner, Judith Morrow said: "CLIC Sargent is a charity we have come very close to as one of our own workers was personally supported by them through her illness.”
Event organiser and the Team McCurry fund fundholder, Roberta McCurry from County Down said: "We are grateful for the support of Streamvale Open Farm. Team McCurry had a great day down on the farm and meeting all the families."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Fiona McCann said: "It was very kind of Streamvale Open Farm to donate all admission fees to CLIC Sargent. A huge thanks to everyone who attended on the day and special thanks to Team McCurry and our CLIC Sargent Volunteers for helping on the day!"
The Team McCurry fund
The £2,050 raised will go into the Team McCurry fund which has been set up by the McCurry family in aid of CLIC Sargent.
All donations received are kept together as one collective total on an online fundraising page, along with messages from friends and family.
To date, the fund has raised £11,039.15 for CLIC Sargent to help children and young people with cancer.
