Lidl staff across the UK are to transform into real life superheroes to raise money to support young cancer patients during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Lidl has challenged each of its 630 stores to raise £170 through superhero fundraising activities. Visit your local Lidl store between the 29 September and 5 October 2016 and support our superheroes. 

Why £170?

Everything stops when you hear your child has cancer. Costs go up and income often goes down. This is why CLIC Sargent give families a grant of £170, to help stop cancer costs spiralling. It is vital that families can access the financial support CLIC Sargent provides. 

Apples

To help raise extra money during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month for CLIC Sargent, Lidl will be donating 30p from every pack of British apples sold between 22 – 28 September.

Lidl staff have already raised an incredible £1m for CLIC Sargent since our partnership began in January 2014, but they aren’t finished! This September they are continuing to support CLIC Sargent by taking part in a Lidl superhero fundraising week.

Supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Lidl UK is the lead sponsor for CLIC Sargent’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which this year is highlighting the extra costs families face when a child is in treatment and campaigning for better financial support. 

This September Lidl is matching donations to CLIC Sargent. Every £1 you donate will be doubled to £2 (up to a total of £10,000). This means your contribution, however big or small, will go even further to fund vital services for families when they need us most, so please donate today.
