For the 33rd Year, the Midlands Hospitals' Choir performed at the Birmingham Town Hall to raise over £2,100 for children and young people with cancer.
A packed-out Birmingham Town Hall joined in with some festive favourities and thoroughly enjoyed the concert entitled ‘Carols that Count – 150 Voices raising funds for children with cancer.'
This year we were lucky enough to have the Deputy Mayor of Birmingham and his Lady wife as special guests as well as CLIC Sargent staff, volunteers, supporters, young people and family members. Also present were guests from CLIC Sargent corporate partner Signet.
The choir was supported by superb special guests including Soprano, Menna Cazel Davies, Bournville Suzuki Strings, the Bournville Junior School Choir and the fantastic Gemini Brass.
All profits from the sale of tickets were donated to CLIC Sargent as was the retiring collection which totalled over £2,100.
CLIC Sargent Area Fundraising Manager, Anna Finnegan says, “The support that the Midlands Hospitals’ Choir has shown for CLIC Sargent over the last 33 years is phenomenal and we are very grateful to them. I very much enjoyed the concert and thought that the duets with the children’s choir and Suzuki bands were brilliant.”
