Education agency, Apple A Day Supply, will be supporting CLIC Sargent over the coming academic year to raise awareness and vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
Over the last year, the Apple A Day Supply has grown its network of supply teachers, tutors and schools, and this academic year it will be encouraging schools in Wiltshire to support CLIC Sargent.
Having been attracted to Wig Wednesday, co-founders of the agency, Gemma and Christine, hope the hair raising enthusiasm will get schools engaged with the cause and that Wig Wednesday will be celebrated all over Wiltshire.
Gemma said: “We are pleased to be working with CLIC Sargent to raise awareness and funding for children and young people with cancer.
"In collaboration with schools, pupils and teachers in Wiltshire and BANES, we are looking forward to organising fun events that also highlight the important work that CLIC Sargent do.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Ben Herbert said: “We are delighted that Apple A Day Supply are supporting CLIC Sargent and Wig Wednesday for 2014/15 and look forward to working together to raise funds for children and young people with cancer, and their families."
