LV= Bournemouth invited CLIC Sargent to meet its staff and help spread the word about the impact of childhood cancer and the support we provide.
Sam Preece, corporate social responsibilities manager, said: “Once a month we open our doors to a local charity or good cause to come in and speak to our people about the great work that they do.
“As one of the largest employers in Bournemouth we encourage our people to go out and give their support whenever they can.
"It was a pleasure to welcome CLIC Sargent into our offices to learn more about their invaluable work in helping families impacted by childhood cancer.”
Making a difference
Staff were also invited to take part in the first raffle of the year with great prizes including hampers donated by Honda, The Cooperative Funeral Care and shopping vouchers provided by LV= itself. Staff raised over £60 in just two hours!
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Joy Morley said: “It was lovely to be invited to meet the staff and tell more people about how we support the community. They were all so welcoming and got right into the fundraising spirit of things!”
