Christine Craufurd who works at Malcolm Sargent House in Ayrshire, has had her head shaved as part of the CLIC Sargent's Big Buzz campaign.
Christine becomes a life shaver
Christine wanted to show support for the children and young people she comes into contact with on a daily basis by shaving her hair off as part of the Big Buzz.
Christine also managed to convince her co-worker, Jennifer Stevenson, to become a life shaver and take part to help raise funds for children and young people with cancer.
A few days after shaving her hair, Christine said:
"I wish I done it years ago! I'm really enjoying the freedom of not being tied to the shackles of my “crazy hair”.
When asked about people's reactions, she said: "The children and families visiting the hourse have not batted an eyelid. And infact, when they found out that I had done it for the charity some of them ended up sponsoring me, which I found quite overwhelming."
Christine is now looking forward to picking out a few new hats for the winter and she also can't wait for it to grow a few inches so she can do a "Jessie J".
