DJS Research is a full-service market research company based in Cheshire. The agency carries out research with clients in the public, private and third sectors across the UK and in 70 countries internationally.
The new partnership will see DJS Research Ltd donate money from charitable incentives and upcoming fundraising activities to CLIC Sargent. The company will also provide CLIC Sargent with a pro bono research service for some of our annual events; the first one to benefit will be our Great Mums Get Together.
DJS Research have chosen to support CLIC Sargent as certain members of staff have directly experienced the support the charity provides to children and young people with cancer, and their families.
Research director, James Hinde, discovered that his daughter had cancer in 2008. Executive support manager, Anne Russell, also has a grandson (main image) who was also diagnosed with cancer in 2011.
Anne said: “Although we don’t now need the emotional and practical support that was invaluable for my daughter and son in law, we know that CLIC Sargent is only a phone call away.”
Both Anne and James welcomed the new partnership and what it would mean for the charity.
James said: “Market research is a fantastic medium for the promotion of any charitable cause – due in part to the incentives that are often donated to charity, but also because of the number of individuals which research projects touch.
"We hope to be able to raise both money for and awareness of CLIC Sargent, as well as the issues faced by young people suffering from cancer.”
CLIC Sargent fundraising manager, Vicki Moore says: “We feel very privileged to be DJS Research Ltd.’s charity of the year and we are looking forward to working closely with them.”
