Sam Fettis from Exeter, has organised a sponsored walk a current total of £3,700 for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
The event, originally organised as a walk from Exeter to Exmouth for friends and family, soon grew to see a fantastic number of participants on the day.
Everyone came in pink and purple and wearing CLIC Sargent t-shirts, to show their support for the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.
With entertainment, a raffle and lots of sponsorship, this was a huge fundraising success and Sam's total raised currently stands at £3,700!
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Stephanie Cherington-Rimmell said: “On behalf of CLIC Sargent I would like to say a huge congratulations and thank you to Sam for all her efforts and thank you to everyone who attended the event, donated raffle prizes and sponsored others, your support will make a huge difference.
"We are in awe of the huge amount of sponsorship raised by every participant, which will go a long way to help us to continue to support children and young people with cancer."
