The annual Topless Tour, organised by the CLIC Sargent Newquay Voluntary Fundraising Group, has raised a big £500 in its eighth year for children and young people with cancer.
The Topless Tour is an annual topless car rally from Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay to St Ives.
Each year Jos and Andy Cole of Newquay organise the Father’s Day event in memory of their daughter Harriett.
This year the weather was perfect and the event saw various models of convertible cars cruise from Newquay to St Ives.
Event organiser Jos Cole said: “We had a great day and are really pleased with the amount we have raised.”
A huge difference
The Topless Tour is one of two events organised by the voluntary fundraising group, with the popular New Years Day Dip for CLIC Sargent being the other.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Georgina Reed said: “We are so lucky to have the voluntary fundraising group.
"Their events are so popular and make a huge difference to the lives of children and young people with cancer.”
