Emil Dales Performing Arts School (EDSA) have danced, sang and acted their way through an evening, to support children and young people with cancer.
On Monday 10 June, EDSA Performing Arts School hosted an 'Evening with the EDSA' charity event at the Gordon Craig Theatre, Hertfordshire in aid of CLIC Sargent. This is the third time that EDSA has put on this event, and each time has been a great success.
Over 20 performers from West End Shows including Mamma Mia, Les Mis, Grease, and Sweeney Todd joined forces with EDSA members to sing songs from the musicals.
EDSA is a part time independent school which offers 6 - 20 years olds, comprehensive training that concentrates on three disciplines: dancing, acting, and singing.
The groups events give young and talented performers an opportunity to show off their talent, whilst supporting a cause that they are extremely passionate about.
Vanessa Welch, a proud parent who attended the event said: ‘‘Last night was brilliant, such quality all in one night! I felt it was a privilege to witness such an amazing event while raising money for such a worthy cause.’’
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Lucia Martinez said: ‘‘It has been an absolute pleasure working with EDSA on the lead up to this event. The evening was a great success and I am delighted that this talented school has chosen to support CLIC Sargent.
"We very much hope to work more with them in the future. A massive thank you from CLIC Sargent.’’
