Community group Barlow Red Barrows, from Derbyshire, has raised £3,000 from their performances at local carnivals.
Barlow Red Barrows are renowned in their local community and the surrounding areas for their performances with wheel barrows to music at Derbyshire carnivals.
The formations are based on the RAF Red Arrows movements but on the ground and not at the same speed!
Red Barrow Wing Commander Richard Brougham said: “It’s all about having fun, putting a smile on people’s faces and finding ways to help those less fortunate."
As well as donating prize money to charity they also perform special arena displays and organise events in Barlow to raise money for local worthy causes.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Lindsay Kay said: “We are absolutely delighted that the Barlow Red Barrows have made this fantastic donation to our charity. What a lovely way to support CLIC Sargent and our work with young cancer patients.”
