Clara, nine, had a staggering 15 inches cut off her hair as she took on the Big Buzz for CLIC Sargent in support of her little brother Luke.
In April 2016, Luke was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just five-years-old. He is being helped by CLIC Sargent.
His brave big sister, Clara, joined the fight by taking on the Big Buzz campaign, which encourages people to change their hair to support children and young people with cancer, many of whom lose their hair during treatment.
To date Clara has raised nearly £1,500 from her incredible event!
Proud mum and dad, Anna and Richard, said: “Clara and Luke have such a strong bond and it shows with how caring and loving she has been and how important it was for her to raise money.
“We were incredibly proud of Clara when she came to us with the idea. She was itching to have it done as soon as possible but we told her to wait a little longer so her hair would grow longer and she would have more to donate to the charity.
“After the haircut she found it really strange; she kept trying to grab her ponytail before remembering it was no longer there!"

A huge thank you
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to Clara for taking on this brave challenge and becoming a real LifeShaver for children and young people with cancer.
"As a charity we rely entirely on donations to fund our vital work and so we can’t thank Clara enough for her fantastic effort."
Clara has donated 15 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust, to be made into wigs to help other children.
