All the Arts Theatre School in Bexley held a special Christmas performance last month as part of CLIC Sargent’s Practice-a-thon, the music, drama and dance fundraising event for young performers across the UK.
70 talented youngsters aged between five and 11, came together to perform three plays, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, ‘Pocahontas’ and ‘Elf’ at St Mary's Church in Bexley.
School principal Lucy Morgans said: “Our pupils love performing and you can’t beat the feeling you get after rehearsing a show and benefiting from the results."
Practice-a-thon is a great way for us to practise our skills, feel great, and raise money for a really important cause.
The pupils have raised a wonderful £250 to support our work with children and young people with cancer, and their families.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Elizabeth Charing said: “A huge thank you to All the Arts for choosing to take part in Practice-a-thon.
"We are currently only able to help two out of three children and young people with cancer across the UK, which is why support like this makes such a big difference.”
