Team Titch take on Color Vibe 5k

After Emilia was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in December 2015, her family and friends set themselves the amazing target of raising a whopping £5,100 for CLIC Sargent. They have already smashed this target and added another £316 to this total along with a blast of colour and a medal when a team took on the Color Vibe 5k.

Team Titch take on Color Vibe 5k

The awesome team of seven, including Emilia’s mum Victoria, brother Archie and sister Beatrice, took on the Color Vibe 5k where they were blasted with colour as they completed the course.

Emilia's story

Just after Emilia’s 11th Birthday, in December 2015, the family had the devastating news that Emilia had Osteosarcoma. The family were supported by a CLIC Sargent Nurse and Social Worker.

Despite going through such a devastating time themselves, as Emilia started her chemotherapy treatment, the family decided they wanted to give back to CLIC Sargent, the charity that was supporting them through their journey and Team Titch was born!

Fundraising target

The family set themselves a phenomenal target of £5,100. Each year, 30 children will be diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and this amount of money could pay for those children to be given the £170 grant that CLIC Sargent provides. They have already smashed this target and continue to fundraise.

Team Titch joined a team of 80 Team CLIC Sargent runners that conquered the Bristol Color Vibe 5k on 9 July. The team were blasted with paint as they completed the 5k course. Thankfully the weather held out as powder paint and rain is not a good mix!

The event

CLIC Sargent is hoping to raise a whopping £10,000 from this event. This amount of money could pay for over 10 families to stay in a Home from Home for a month.

A massive well done to Team Titch and all our runners that took part in the Bristol Color Vibe 5k.
