The challenge

Taking place in The Mill Theatre in Banbury the glitz, glam and glory of this ballroom and Latin America put contestants through their paces.

The line-up - which includes teachers, police superintendents, town councillors and hairdressers – will be supported over the coming weeks by dancers and tutors from the Step-by-Step Dance School. The main event will be held on 4 and 5 May 2013, and will showcase the seven weeks of intense weekly training.

Organiser and tutor Glenda Harper on behalf of herself and partner, Viv Rhymes, said: “We’re extremely proud to be part of this fabulous event once again. We have raised money for some incredibly worthwhile causes over the years and CLIC Sargent is no exception. We’re delighted to have such a wide range of competitors this year, including one of the charity’s social workers from Oxford.”

Tickets have already sold out for this event, though we would like to thank all contestants involved who continue to fundraise for CLIC Sargent in the build up to the competition.
