Hellermann Tyton’s Plymouth office spent 2015 fundraising for CLIC Sargent and has raised an incredible £4,800.
Hellermann Tyton is one of the leading cable management manufacturers of products for fastening, fixing, identifying and protecting cables and their connecting components.
Their employees vote each year to decide on which charity they would like to support and at the start of 2015 CLIC Sargent was selected due to a close connection with the charity through one of their employees.
Making a difference
Lisa Brown, Hellermann Tyton human resources officer, said: “A number of people took part in fundraising events in support of CLIC Sargent, which included a 24-hour ‘Row A Thon’, 10k run, various Christmas raffles and cake sales.
“All of our employees have supported the activities and contributed to raising £2,396. The company have matched this and rounded it up, to bring the grand total to £4,800.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Jordan Anderton said: “To have such a large company, such as Hellermann Tyton, supporting us is fantastic and the money that they have raised will make a real difference to the families CLIC Sargent supports.
“It is so nice to hear that everyone in the company got involved with their fundraising activities. I would like to thank everybody for their fantastic fundraising efforts, hard work and support they have shown to CLIC Sargent.”
