Owen takes on Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 in memory of his son Ted

In 2009 Owen Newton’s son, Ted, was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a very rare form of bone cancer. Ted lost his battle with cancer in 2010 aged 10 years old. Since then, Owen and his family have worked tirelessly to raise money for CLIC Sargent and Teddy20, a charity they set up to offer emotional and financial support to families in a similar situation.

Owen has climbed Kilimanjaro, cycled Death Valley in the USA, and completed a Skydive to name but a few, all in aid of CLIC Sargent.

To date, Owen and his family have raised over £22,000 for CLIC Sargent and are continuously raising money for Teddy20.

Never one to let the grass grow under his feet, Owen has decided to take on RideLondon 100 2017 and we know he will absolutely smash it! Good Luck Owen.
