Vintage vehicle rally and family fun day a huge success in Dorset

A great day and night was had by all at Udder Farm in Dorset at the vintage vehicle rally and family fun day, raising money for Salisbury Hospice and CLIC Sargent.

How many balloons can you fit into a tractor without them popping ?

The Udder Farm Shop, East Stour, played host to a day of fun on 26 July 2014, fundraising in memory of Barry Smith.

Visitors were treated to a wealth of vintage and modern tractors, also some of the regions finest stationary engines and classic cars.

There was fun for all the family with craft stalls, raffles, face painting and games galore all in aid of two good causes. Organiser Suzanne Smith has been running the show for many years and chose to raise money for Salisbury Hospice and CLIC Sargent.

The event was hugely successful despite being an extremely hot day, with CLIC Sargent set to receive £976.91 of the proceeds.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Farah Batchelor said: “It was such a great day at Udders Farm. Not many people in Dorset have heard how CLIC Sargent support many local families and young people through cancer journeys.

“This event allowed us to not only receive money but raise awareness of our charity and the services we offer. I’m extremely grateful to Suzie and her team for such a great event.”
