Tony started supporting CLIC Sargent in the 90s, and has since travelled nearly 12,500 miles to share his impressive photography collection and raise generous donations from groups.
With photo content ranging from Somerset scenery to Swiss railways, flowers and local history, the photos are set to music or a suitable commentary - a single presentation can consist of a variety of separate picture sequences.
Tony had a family member supported by CLIC Sargent years ago.
The charity has always been important to him and he appreciates the great work that it does helping families in difficult times.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Engagement Manager Rachel Webster said: “Tony has shown wonderful kindness and achieved so much over the years.
"The difference he has made to families facing a cancer diagnosis is incredible and inspiring. Thank you so much Tony for your amazing support and beautiful photographs.”
Tony’s amazing total has helped support thousands of families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis. Children, young people and their families have been supported emotionally by CLIC Sargent Social Workers, as well as financially with initial grants to cover costs like food, magazines and travel.
Hospital has been made a little less scary for children with CLIC Sargent Play Specialists explaining treatments and medicines with games and toys. All of this would not have been possible without the dedicated support CLIC Sargent receives from volunteers like Tony.
