Ocean Torbay BMW held its annual golf day last summer to help raise funds for children and young people with cancer.
The annual golf day is hugely popular with BMW customers and takes place each year at Torquay Golf Club. Despite the rain, last year's event was a huge success with the 34 teams all having a great time. The golfers raised a whopping £1,264.60 which will help support children and young people with cancer.
Sales Manager at Ocean Torbay BMW, Gareth Watton, said: ”Our Annual Golf Day is an excellent opportunity to engage with our loyal customers whilst raising much needed funds for CLIC Sargent, who as a charity are very close to our hearts.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Stephanie Cherington-Rimmell, said: “We are so grateful for the ongoing support of Ocean BMW, they are a fantastic local business who work so hard to help us support children and young people with cancer.
"£1,264 will go a very long way to help us continue our work with young cancer patients here in Devon and across the UK."
