Kirklees College's annual CLIC Sargent fundraising event has raised over £700, twice as much as last year.
Wigs, onesies and unforgettable hair-dos
Pyjamas, onesies, wigs and unforgettable hair-dos were everywhere to be seen at the college, all in support of CLIC Sargent. The event also included a Christmas Fayre in the Foundation Learning Department.
Nick Stephenson, a tutor in the hairdressing department said: "The students deserve a big pat on the back for all their efforts, and so do the staff. We are so pleased with our achievement. This donation adds a little more happiness for those less fortunate than ourselves and thus emphasises the true meaning of Christmas."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Noemie Salvaudon said: "Nick has been instrumental in supporting the students put on this fantastic event, and all deserve a massive thank you and well done!
"It’s fantastic to see young people using their creativity to support other young people in their community. Thank you all!"
