Sandra McAuley from Lisbane, County Down organised a coffee morning and raised an incredible £4,000 for children and young people with cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
As well as live music and tasty homemade scones with fresh cream, there was a huge marquee in the garden displaying everything from vegetables to homemade cakes and vintage tractors and cars in the front garden.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Fiona McCann said: "Possibly the entire Lisbane Community flocked to Sandra's home and they helped to raise an incredible £4,000. It was lovely to see the support the McAuley family have in the local area.
"A huge thank you to everyone who supported this event, it costs CLIC Sargent £230 for one family to stay in a Home from Home like Paul's House in Belfast for a week so this amount could pay for 17 families."
