TSB branches in South and West Yorkshire raise an amazing £1,065 for young cancer patients

Julie Rodwell, charity lead for TSB branches in South and West Yorkshire persuaded all TSB branches in the area, including Area Director Dave Smith, to don wigs for the day in support of CLIC Sargent’s Wig Wednesday event.

Dave Smith agreed for his branches to take part after Julie Rodwell’s long time involvement with CLIC Sargent touched the heart strings of staff. Fundraising on the day involved counter staff donning flamboyant wigs to impress their customers as part of Wig Wednesday.

Julie Rodwell said: “We’re delighted to have played our part in helping the charity ensure that children and young people can live their life to the full as much as possible.

“Without the support of all our colleagues, we would not have reached my target to help such a worthwhile cause.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Stephen Jackett said: “We are absolutely thrilled that TSB has made this wonderful contribution. We really appreciate the hard work and generosity that has gone in to raising the pounds.”
