Staff from the leading business support agency, Business in Focus, celebrated Wig Wednesday by ‘wigging’ up their office attire to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
The company based in South Wales took part in CLIC Sargent’s Wig Wednesday to raise both funds and awareness for children and young people with cancer.
All employees paid £2 to take part in the fancy dress day. Even the Chief Executive Katy Chamberlain wore a wig for the day to show her support.
Katy said: “Taking part in CLIC Sargent’s Wig Wednesday was a huge success, it was not only great fun but it also raised money for the cause.”
The business also collected additional funds for the charity by having a collection box on their reception desk.
Hannah Worrall, Fundraising Manager for CLIC Sargent said: “We are thrilled that Wig Wednesday has been such a huge success and I am particularly impressed that every employee of Business in Focus took part in this fun fundraiser!”
