Pupils from Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd in Wales sing their support for children and young people with cancer.
They took to the streets of Newtown in Mid Wales to take part in some festive carol singing at the end of last year. They sang in front of their local Tesco, and also in the centre of their town. Together they managed to raise a total of £191, which is an amazing achievement!
The pupils from Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd decided to raise money for CLIC Sargent in support of fellow student Tyler who is recieving treatment for cancer. So not only was their musical merriment a brilliant fundraising idea, it was also a fantastic show of solidarity.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “This is such a fun and proactive idea!
"It is this kind of support that enables CLIC Sargent to help as many families as it does, so we are all incredibly grateful to the students of Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd for their effort and hard work.”
The money raised by the students at Dafydd Llwyd will make a real difference to the families CLIC Sargent supports.
