Today we are unveiling our updated logo, which now includes our new strapline, Cancer support for the young.
Earlier in the year we launched Aiming High, our 10 year plan to change what it means to be diagnosed with cancer when you’re young.
Aiming High sets out our ambition to maintain and grow our vital services so that we reach and support all young cancer patients and their families who need us, for as long as they need us.
But right now we simply do not have the funds to give all young cancer patients and families all the support they need from us – currently we can only reach and support two out of three young people aged 16 to 24 who need us. We want to make this three out of three.
CLIC Sargent supports young cancer patients aged 0 to 24 years old, and their families, and our new strapline Cancer support for the young (which replaces ‘for children with cancer’) takes account of feedback from young people we support.
We launched the strapline in our film I’m still here earlier in the year and have now incorporated it into our logo.
To minimise expense and waste we’ve updated the logo in-house and will introduce it gradually – which means that for the next 18-24 months you may see both versions of the logo designs on our various materials.
