Music company, Audio Sprite is donating music in exchange for donations for CLIC Sargent after the company's owner Richard Tult was inspired to fundraise after his best friend's brother Ted died of cancer aged just 11.
Ted was a big fan of videogames which inspired Richard to start this Audio Sprite project.
The project is open to all members of the public and will help to raise funds for CLIC Sargent after the charity helped to support Ted's family through their cancer journey.
Audio Sprite will then release a full album of video game and children's television theme tune remixes for free via Soundcloud if enough people donate to this worthy cause.
Richard said: "This charity album is something I have always wanted to do from the very start of the project, after two years of hard work I am finally in a position to use the contacts and fans I have made to give something back and make it a reality.
“The music is remixed from video games that are no longer in circulation. Nintendo and SEGA both actively encourage and support artists."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Farah Batchelor said: “Richard’s found such an unusual and personal way to fundraise after being touched by a friend's loss."
All Audio Sprite music is made and owned by Richard Tult. All donations will be paid to Teddy 20 fund on behalf of CLIC Sargent. For more information on Audio Sprite please contact Richard on firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Audio Sprite Soundcloud.
