Angel Day Nursery in Cheltenham took on five days of fundraising to raise more than £1,000 for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
During a week in February the nursery organised a sponsored run, a pyjama day, cake sale, wearing purple for a day and a sponsored walk.
The nursery chose to support CLIC Sargent after a child there was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the age of two-and-a-half years old in August 2014.
Nursery Manager, Hollie Jenkins, said: “We are so happy to be able to fundraise for CLIC Sargent and show support to the families being supported by the charity.
Hollie continued: “CLIC Sargent provides wonderful homes for families so they can stay near to the hospital, as well as ongoing specialist care to the children. The support it provides is invaluable to those who need it.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “It is wonderful to see the Angel Day Nursery working together to raise vital funds for such a worthy cause. Thank you to all those involved for your ongoing hard work.”
