Glen Cinnamon from Antrim, was inspired to fundraise for CLIC Sargent because his friend and co-driver Matthew has been fighting cancer for the last five years.
For a friend
After noticing there was 'a fair bit of space' on the roof of this rally car and near the back window, Glen decided to have the car wrapped in the charity's new logo to help raise awareness and funds.
He proposed, in return for a donation, to add names - family, children or companies - to his car, which will be used regularly, at events around the North and South of Ireland for the next 12 months.
With the support of friends and the rally world in Northern Ireland, Glen's CLIC Sargent rally car raised £4,999 over Christmas.
Glen said: "It is brilliant to see the support in the community for Matthew. It is also heart-breaking to watch what cancer is doing to my friend."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Fiona McCann said: "Glen's support has been incredible. A huge thank you to him and everyone who kindly contributed to the amazing amount raised.
"£4,999 could pay for five families to stay for a month in a CLIC Sargent Home from Home, ensuring they are close to their child during treatment and we couldn't be more grateful.
"Thanks for joining our fight for young lives against cancer."
