An evening of dancing in celebration of the ladies of the Abbey Lodge 1592 raised £575 for CLIC Sargent.
The evening saw the ladies and gentleman of Bury St Edmunds Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution, Abbey Lodge 1592, dance well into the night and win fantastic raffle prizes.
Taking place at Ashlar House, the evening commenced with a four course meal before local band, Captain Scarlett, took to the stage.
Helene Utting, Lady of the Master of the Lodge, said: “We are thrilled to have raised so much for this important charity which provides such vital support to families coping with cancer; a wonderful evening was had by all.”
The Abbey Lodge supported CLIC Sargent throughout 2015, raising a total of £865 which could pay for a CLIC Sargent Social Worker for a whole week.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Daisy Turner said: “We are so grateful to Helene for putting on such a fantastic ladies festival and for the support provided by the Abbey Lodge who do so much for the community.”
