Every month we like to highlight inspirational people that go the extra mile by taking on a challenge to raise money for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
For December, our star challenger is Graham Chilcott and his wife Karen.
Graham is set to take to the saddle to cycle the furthest distance possible in the British Isles from Lands End to John O’Groats. Karen and their children will travel with Graham in a support vehicle, helping to support him along the way.
The Chilcotts will start this challenge from the rocky cliffs of Land’s End and finish at the northern most point of the UK mainland.
To raise additional funds for this challenge, Karen and Graham organised a 'Relaxed Ball' evening. 193 guests attended and enjoyed a fantastic evening with great people and great food, all for a great cause.
The event raised an amazing £1,707 for children and young people with cancer, and their families. Find out how your money could help.
If you have been inspired by our star challengers then find out how you can organise your own cycling challenge in support of CLIC Sargent today.
