Heysham-based band Where Angels Play has released its debut album, 'This Journey Home' and will be donating all sales profit to CLIC Sargent.
The band, consisting of Andrew Hampsey on drums, Stephen Wilcock on bass and vocals and Mark Jones on guitar, keys and vocals, has been playing together for over ten years.
Over the past five years, the band has performed at various charity events and has also been fundraising in the local area. Now they hope to raise even more for CLIC Sargent through the release of their album.
Mark said: "When I read some of the amazing stories, it's hard not to feel proud to be part of helping these brave young people.
"Our album, This Journey Home, features 12 original songs. Hopefully we can use this music to help others on their journey, and pledge to give any profits made by this release to CLIC Sargent, and get a few feet tapping along the way."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Vicki Moore said: "It's wonderful that Where Angels Play are supporting us in this way, they are a very talented group and it's very generous of them".
