Claire from Gloucestershire has raised over £1,000 for children and young people with cancer by taking part in CLIC Sargent's The Big Buzz event.
The Big Buzz gives people the chance to show their support for children and young people with cancer by getting creative with their hair.
Claire decided to shave off her long hair so she could raise money for CLIC Sargent. Her mum tried to talk her out of it, but Claire was determined to go through with it and help raise funds for young cancer patients.
The money that Claire has raised could pay for a family to stay in one of CLIC Sargent's Homes from Home for a month whilst their child receives cancer treatment in a nearby medical facility.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Ceris Bradley said: “Claire has been so brave, deciding to help in a really special way.
"She has raised such a fantastic amount of money and she should be really proud knowing that this money really will help to support children and young people with cancer.”
