Anna Tharia, a music teacher from Cheltenham, organised a tea party concert in support of one of her students, raising £200 for children and young people with cancer.
Anna organised the tea party in support of one of her students, Sophie, who was diagnosed with leukaemia in October 2012.
Sophie and her mum Lesley looked after the tea and cake stall with friends and Sophie also gave a few performances during the day, along with fellow students.
Anna did a fantastic job by organising the whole event, which also had a local special guest Hatti Briggs, who won BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards 2014.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Laura Penry said: “Thank you so much Anna for organising such a lovely day and raising money for CLIC Sargent, your support is hugely appreciated and we can't thank you enough.”
Since Sophie’s diagnosis her family and friends have been raising money for CLIC Sargent, and have nearly reached £20,000.
