Sainsbury’s Swindon carols are a BigSingThing success

This Christmas Sainsbury’s Swindon hosted the Swindon-based choir BigSingThing, who entertained shoppers throughout the day and raised £400 for children and young people with cancer.

The festivities in the Brunel Centre included a Christmas raffle, with first prize being a festive food hamper that was kindly donated by Honda of the UK Manufacturing. The store also had a Mog the Cat toy to raffle.

The BigSingThing choir has more than 100 members in total, and are led by conductor Abby Mansi – no matter how well you sing, you’ll always be welcome to join them!

Thank you

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: “People across Swindon stopped in their tracks to watch the choir sing on Sunday.

"Through the generous donations of the people of Swindon we raised £400 to support children and young people with cancer, and their families.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to all the choir members that joined us on the day, and a huge thank you to Sainsbury’s Swindon for hosting the fantastic event.”
