Wig-fever hits Truro with Wig Wednesday flashmob

Wig-fever hit Truro as a local dance group 4Real Dance Fitness took to the streets with a wig-themed flashmob.

The group of young dancers wiggled their stuff to Bruno Mars’ hit, Uptown Funk. With their colourful ‘dos’ they were on a mission to raise awareness of CLIC Sargent’s flagship fundraising campaign Wig Wednesday.

Flashmob choreographer Angie Smith said: “The dancers all worked really hard to prepare for their Wig Wednesday Flashmob performance.

"We hope we have encouraged many local people, businesses and organisations to get involved and sign up to Wig Wednesday this May, and raise funds for a great cause.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Georgina Reed said: “We were thrilled when Angie and her dancers from 4Real Dance Fitness agreed to perform a Wig Wednesday FlashMob.

"We really appreciate their support and the support of local businesses in the Pydar Street area on the day.”
