The families were given a tour of the grounds and the children met with the players and enjoyed getting autographs and pictures with the squad.
They then were also invited to watch the match against Accrington Stanley FC from the main Flybe Stand.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Stephanie Cherington-Rimmell said: “We are so grateful to the club and their sponsors for arranging this special day. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to take a day out and enjoy some quality time together.
“Some of the children were able to go on the pitch and meet the team captains before the start of the match, which was a real treat. The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone enjoyed themselves, with parents and siblings joining in the fun too.”
Bruce Henderson, from Exeter City said: “The CLIC Sargent visit to a match day has become an annual event and something the club takes huge pleasure in being involved with.
"The credit goes to the eleven sponsors and groups who made it possible this year, the staff of CLIC Sargent and of course to the children and their families. Meeting them is always inspirational and moving”.
