Clarks International in Street took part in an office bake off and cake sale, raising over £320 for CLIC Sargent during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Around 20 people in the UK&ROI Properties team were involved in baking and selling cakes to the whole of Clarks International HQ.
The office decided to support CLIC Sargent because an employee has a friend whose daughter has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, and the family have been greatly supported by CLIC Sargent.
The winning cake, baked and decorated by Paul Crouch, was ironically shoe themed, impressing the office with a delicious design.
A fantastic morning
Andree de Gregorio, from the UK&ROI Properties team, said: “A fantastic morning was had by us, we didn’t realise we had so many prospective Paul Hollywood’s in the Properties team!
“This is a really great cause and has been tremendously supported by Clarks HQ. We are really proud to have raised over £320 for CLIC Sargent through a simple cake sale.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “It is fantastic to see Clarks International supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
"Our Power of Cake campaign brought colleagues together, raised valuable funds and provided delicious treats too - what a fantastic day! Thank you.”
