With all of the glorious festivals that happened this sunny summer, the Devon Dub Fest celebrated all things VW. It pulled in the crowds and raised a fantastic £3,317 for CLIC Sargent.
Now in it’s third year the Devon Dub Fest once again chose to support CLIC Sargent. Every year the volunteer event organisers spend an amazing amount of their time organising this family friendly festival situated in the beautiful East Devon countryside.
This year was no exception with some fantastic bands, plenty of local Otter beer and great stalls. Everyone had a great time and Sunday’s Show and Shine event saw some spectacular VW cars and vans being shown off to their best. The festival arranged for a family supported by CLIC Sargent to choose the 'best in show VW' and we were delighted to have Martin Dorey pop down on the day.
With the popularity of the festival growing and the amazing weather this summer, ticket sales went really well and the event almost doubled their donation to CLIC Sargent from last year, raising a fantastic £3,317.
Sarah Shaw, Fundraising Manager in Devon says, “I would like to say a special thanks to the three main event organisers, Zoe, Martin and Bonnie. Without all of their hard work and the dedicated band of volunteers on the day the festival just simply wouldn’t happen. It is great to have our very own VW festival in Devon and a huge thanks for the continued support of CLIC Sargent.”
