Young Tia and her mum Lisa organised a fundraising day at Shrublands, Youth and Adult Centre, Gorleston as part of their on-going fundraising for CLIC Sargent. CLIC Sargent received £100 from the event at which Tia sold her hand made bracelets, necklaces, key rings and bag charms.
As well as Tia’s stall they had a children’s colouring competition, guess the beads in the jar competition, lucky dip, hook a duck, cakes and refreshments and lots more.
Tia started her fundraising aged six in the summer of 2011 when her friend Demi lost an eye to cancer and is now partially sighted in her remaining eye. Tia formed Tia’s Treasures and has been making jewelry and fundraising ever since.
Tia is a remarkable young girl and CLIC Sargent would like to say a huge thank you to Tia and her mum Lisa for their continued support.
